What if we rethink the mattress buying experience? We worked with Mattress Firm to create a scalable, flexible, shopper-centric store of the future.

Mattress Firm was looking for a partner to bring consistency across a fleet of stores that were disjointed and often awkward for the shopper. We focused on developing a customer journey to make mattress shopping easy and supportive within the physical store, simplifying communications, building the Mattress Firm brand voice, and connecting the experience with Sleep.com.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

The Sleep Assessment Center allows guests to connect with a Sleep Expert and find the perfect bed for them. Throughout the space, Brand Galleries highlight products like Sealy and Tempur-Pedic, while providing a voice from Mattress Firm on why guests will love each collection.

The flexible fixture system and headboard communication allow for easy sightlines and scalability across the store. Simplification and education were keys to enhancing the shopping process and building trust with the guest. Relevant accessories merchandised throughout the store enable shoppers to build a complete sleep solution.

VERSATILITY BY DESIGN

Even opening during the pandemic, the first three test stores have received positive customer feedback and shown in-store traffic growth. New stores will showcase the latest store-of-the-future design while remodeled stores will get scaled solutions throughout the country.
