It’s not every day you get to design a sleek and modern, technology-filled, high-energy store environment for one, let alone two, NFL teams. Partnering with Delaware North Companies, Chute Gerdeman recently developed a state-of-the art retail store at New Meadowlands Stadium, home of both the New York Giants and New York Jets.

The Flagship Store Powered by Reebok, which opened in mid-August, is already being recognized as one of the most unique retail operations, as well as one of the largest team stores, in the National Football League.

The store was created to transform from Giants to Jets virtually overnight. Using light as “paint,” the environment morphs from green (Jets) to blue (Giants) with the flick of a switch. Now, the 9,600-square-foot store provides Giants and Jets fans with a team-customized shopping experience for their respective home games. The store can also be split 50/50 between the two teams on non-game days.

Check out this video from North Jersey for a peek at the store on opening day.
