Louis, Louis, you’ve done it again. On a recent trip to London, I passed these glittering gold windows displaying whimsical ostriches. Wait, ostriches? The 2010 collection is all about reviving the elegant ostrich leather, and leave it to Louis Vuitton to put a creative spin on the merchandise story!
The fashion-forward birds make full use of the store’s expansive windows, stretching their elegant necks up, around, and through multiple views. The birds are loaded with luggage, draped with bags, and bedecked in bows.
Accompanying the ostriches are, of course, golden ostrich eggs. Every few days, a new egg hatches to reveal a new goodie inside—will it be shoes? A bag? A watch? Such a simple, but brilliant way to keep the windows fresh and fun.
