Headed to Retail’s BIG Show

Headed to Retail’s BIG Show 800 600 Chute Gerdeman

Chute Gerdeman will be on the ground in New York taking part in NRF’s annual convention. 2011 marks the 100th anniversary of Retail’s BIG Show—a convention and expo of more than 18,500 engaged retail professionals from 74 countries. Retail’s BIG Show features educational sessions covering the industry’s most relevant and forward-looking topics. Our CG team will be leading sessions, attending events, and seeing the best of the city’s retail throughout the week.

On Tuesday, be sure to attend the “Military Might Meets Brand Right” conference session at 1:00 p.m. Chute Gerdeman’s George Nauman, Principal and Chief Marketing Officer, and Brian Shafley, President and Chief Creative Director, will give attendees a sneak peek behind the gates of highly guarded military installations. CG and Jones Lang LaSalle worked with the nation’s 39th largest retailer, the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, to create a brand new Exchange experience for America’s service men and women and their families. In this session, AAFES representatives will share how they are changing the business to build a life-long emotional connection with a unique customer base, while helping U.S. soldiers and airmen outfit their families’ lifestyle.
