Recently the New York based Bark & Co., known for its dog-toy-and-treat subscription boxes, BarkBox, hosted a Hoppy Easter event at their Columbus Customer Engagement Office. Located on the second floor of the Carlile Building near the North Market, the modern workplace has a cool, young culture, one that of course encourages employees to bring their pup to work.
The event, is one of many they host throughout the year to raise money for good causes. This one was a photo op to get your pups picture with the Easter BarkBunny, along with an Easter Treat Scavenger Hunt that led to Goodale Park where their mascot was hanging out with a few employees for a Pawrty in the Park, including a raffle for Bark Baskets, and Pup Painting. All proceeds went to helping a few local dogs with surgeries.
Their next Columbus event, Bark on the Runway, is in May. Local, adoptable, pups will be modeling vendor-donated clothing for what I am sure will be an adorable fashion show! Event includes refreshments, appetizers, pup vendors and a silent auction full of donated goods. 100% profits will be donated to local rescues. Unfortunately, your pups have to sit this one out because it’s for adoptable pups only.
