Second Serving of CG’s Sweet Treat Exchange
Thank goodness for December. As the holidays approach, all guilt disappears and CG’s collective sweet tooth emerges. Back by popular demand, we’re serving up a second helping of our Holiday Sweet Treat Exchange.
We formalized our love for holiday cookies and sweets and held a Holiday Sweet Treat Exchange. The only limitation? Everything must be homemade. Over 25 Chuties rolled up their sleeves and got to baking, and in the end we had an amazing array of the sweetest, gooey-iest, loveliest holiday treats outside of the North Pole. From marshmallow wreaths to candy canes to biscotti, the variety was astounding, and everyone got to sample all the goods. Less a high-pressure contest than a collective sugar high, the Sweet Treat Exchange became an instant staple in our holiday diet.
And, since ‘tis the season, we collected the best and brightest recipes for easy download for our Gist readers! Simply roll over the images below for a sneak peek at every cookie, then click on your favorites to go to a full recipe and a downloadable PDF! Now you can join our Holiday Sweet Treat brigade. Happiest of holidays from all of us at Chute Gerdeman.
