Top 5: Summer’s Forecast is Hot, Bright & Sunny

We are seeing this trend in fashion, jewelry and home décor, and the hues are vibrant, warm and fun! Nothing brightens a mood faster than a splash of citrus yellow on the walls or radiant tangerine peep-toe pumps.

One sure sign of Summer is the Crate and Barrel Summer catalog arriving in the mail. The vibrant colors and bold patterns get everyone excited for soaring temperatures. This year C&B’s signature Marimekko Finnish fabric collection caught my eye with large-scale patterns in crisp, saturated colors. The outdoor pillows are the perfect finishing touch to any patio.
On a side note, Marimekko has opened a flagship store in the Flatiron District in NYC!
