Before joining Chute Gerdeman, Faith’s previous experience was in visual merchandising, fixture design, and branding for retail and restaurant clients. Her main role was to grow and develop a visual merchandising offering as part of an integrated service to her clients. Her clients included Best Buy, New Balance, LongHorn, Bebe, Albertsons, BP-WBC, Goasis, Cracker Barrel, Benihana, Home Depot, Dean & Deluca, and Organized Living. Faith began her retail career working in store management at both Oilily and The Limited.
Faith’s work on Benihana earned “Retail Store of the Year,” by Chain Store Age. Her work on Travel Centers of America’s Goasis and the Home Depot’s Fuel were also recognized by Chain Store Age. Faith is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she remains active as a speaker in the new Retail Environments class. Faith helped establish the class and develop its curriculum. She is also a speaker at the OSU Fashion Guild.

Virginia Kistler
Designer, Design Development
With more than nine years of experience in the design industry, Virginia’s role as part of the Design Development team is to detail and document the design intent for each project. This includes documentation for the environment, custom store fixtures and millwork, coordination with graphic design, lighting design, architectural and engineering consultants and implementation coordination with vendors, fabricators and contractors.

Prior to joining Chute Gerdeman, Virginia was responsible for conceptual design, project management, and engineering drawings at Boss Display Corp. She has had the opportunity of working with a diverse client list, including: The Columbus Museum of Art, Honda, The King Arts Complex, The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and AEP.
Virginia is a 1998 graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh’s Department of Industrial Design. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a focus on marketing in 2004. Her work with Comfortline Incorporated won most innovative tradeshow booth in 2005.

Gretchen Ardizzone
Strategic Resource Coordinator, Marketing

As Strategic Resource Coordinator, Gretchen is responsible for updating and organizing the trends library. She is dedicated to not only reading new publications that come in daily, but organizing the information to maintain a library for easy access and ongoing use by design teams and project managers. Gretchen utilizes online and print sources to arm our teams with up-to-the-minute information as it relates to client projects, competitive audits, and the retail industry as a whole.

Before joining Chute Gerdeman, Gretchen used her knowledge and organizational skills at Signature Worldwide, known for its business and training solutions, and Sparkspace conference center.

Gretchen graduated from Ohio University with a degree in organizational communication and an emphasis on marketing and business administration.

Janna Lansing
Manager, Business Development
Janna uses her ten plus years of relationship building experience to target, research and develop new business for Chute Gerdeman. Her ability to develop these relationships crosses many categories including consumer goods, service and retail.

She believes that developing new business is an art rather than a science. It’s not about numbers; it’s more about developing a long-term relationship approach. She has found that direct, friendly and persistent communication is necessary for success in this field.

As each new relationship begins, her understanding of the client’s business, objectives and industry trends cohesively combine with her knowledge of Chute Gerdeman’s service offer. This enables her to see potential competitive opportunities and to suggest potential solutions.
Before joining Chute Gerdeman, Janna worked at Signature Worldwide where she was involved in negotiations and ongoing relationship-building. Janna's experience working with a diverse client list and marketing to prospective clients makes her an asset to Chute Gerdeman's Business Development team.
