Sparkle Effect
DDI—March 2008
Ross-Simons wanted their new jewelry store prototype to be friendly and relevant to today's customers. The Chute Gerdeman Retail design team created unique areas, such as a Web desk, a Rolex watch bar, a sit-down bridal area and a lounge area, to encourage socialization and provide opportunities for employee interaction. "These areas create pause points and socialization areas," explains Bess Anderson, director, visual strategy for Chute Gerdeman.

Revamping Retail
Columbus C.E.O.—March 2008
For a remodel to achieve any boost in sales, retailers need to do more than just change the color of a store's walls or reposition clothing racks, says Denny Gerdeman, principal and co-founder of Chute Gerdeman.

Breeding Success
Smart Business Columbus—February 2008
Success breeds success. The tenet is far from revolutionairy, but Denny Gerdeman still spreads it among his 50 employees with vigor. "When you have a successful project and a happy client, guess what? More business," says the principal and co-founder of Chute Gerdeman Retail.
